More and more lately i find that people have a hidden agenda/s. I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same? People are just not genuine anymore.

Most people will give a direct and honest answer to a direct question, but, otherwise, they will tend to mollify their personalities to protect their own actualization of themselves.
It's a tough and demanding world. We must usually hide our hole card.

I do not worry about people's hidden agendas that much any more. I have found that you may develop a few close friendships in life and you have trusting relationships with those people. But basically, I have little to give and less to lose when interacting with people with "hidden agendas". I have basically tried to live my life as an open book. If anyone wants to try to find something that they can use, go ahead. I'm willing to admit my mistakes because I'm only human. For the most part I try not to hurt anyone in any way, and that means spreading rumors or taking retribution. If people want to use me, well, all they had to do is ask and I probably would have helped them anyway. So, I guess what am I am saying is, I don't care if people aren't genuine, I have to answer for myself.
