In view of the fact that a building cannot make a phone call, I have to say that you are asking a very silly question.

well actually yes! believe it or not!
well to explain the story i have to kinda tell you the background story! here goes!:
my mam and dad were seperated so she moved out and bought her own house along with her new boyfriend and my dad kept the old one, but them my mam died and a few days later, the house phone in my dads rang and the caller id said it was from my mams house, but i know there was no one in my mams house because she was dead and her boyfriend (well, by them he was her husband) was out sorting out the funeral and even if he was in, he doesnt have the number to my dads house!
when i answered there was silence, but whoever was on the other end didnt hang up, there was no dial tone till i hung up! crrreeepppppyyy!!!
and im not kiddin, thats true!

No. I am sure I have phoned my house on several occasions, though - even if I knew there was nobody there.

I have heard strange noises, and voices on my telephone once, in the middle of the night.It was very creepy indeed.
