I have not tried it yet. Check my profile, I'm still a newbie in toasting a PC.

But if you are just talking of case fans, then remove it but compensate for the reduction in airflow by replacing the remaining ones with stronger/high volume fans. Without proper airflow inside the case, your PC will overheat. Processor may slowdown due to throttling to avoid getting fried.

could be valuable in case you have been in an A/C Room you need to maintain issues cool that way. while you're making plans on doing this way of ingredient, be certain you do now not close the ingredient panel this is going to enable a great variety of warmth to flee extra efficiently, that way this is going to straight away cool the computing device. yet to procure to rigidity approximately airborne dirt and mud and different issues. do now not do something stupid like placed the fan and cpu below a textile. you at the instant are not getting any air flow that way. As for video games, i actually does now not propose it, you desire a useful fan to maintain issues cool, the two placed the CPU in an A/C room crank up the A/c and save the fan, or do purely small artwork here and there once you're able to desire to until eventually the alternative fan comes.

You do NOT want to remove your CPU fan completely. It functions for a reason. It keeps your CPU from overheating. If your CPU overheats, it will quit working. If you broke the power box, then replace the fan. If you are cramped for space then buy a bigger tower. But don't - under any circumstances - remove your fan.

BTW - you should clean you fan and the air vents periodically. You can just "blow" then with compressed "canned" air.

You could try a water cooling solution but that may take up the same amount of room or even more.

What part broke on yours? You can get a new one for anywhere from $15 to $90 depending on the quality and what cpu it works with.

There are two fans in a normal computer.
1. Processor Fan
2. SMPS Fan

If you are talking about processor fan, u can not make
computer work without fan. It's not recommended as your
processor and board gets fired.

If you are asking about SMPS, well u can buy a new one or else u can not start your computer.

So both are important
