If it has been 12 hrs and your skin isn't damaged I'm sure you'll be fine.

After 12 hours if nothing has happened. it's not going too. The smell will go away. Why wouldn't you tell your parents ?
Look at it this way. There was a problem. You tried to fix it. I guess you go it fixed ? You did the best you could and had a minor accident. So what do you have to hide ? Your parents will be happy that you tried. This is a good thing not a bad thing.

Drano burns skin you should get medical attention fast and the more you wash it the more it will burn you can not keep this from your parents, believe me they would want you to tell them you had a mishap they will not be angry with you this is the best thing for you to do, it could burn your skin away in time I believe you would not want this to happen Drano contains lye. Good Luck ! and please let your parents know you had an accident and remember they will not be angry but they will be angry if you don't tell them

It depends on what it's made of: I once put a cashmere-mix sweater in the washing machine, and it shrank and lost its shape. This sweater is made of acrylic (which should be fine as long as you cold wash it) and wool (which is best hand-washed, but can go in the woolen cycle). So if you want to machine wash it, you'll have to do a cold wash on the woolen cycle. Don't tumble dry it though - rather reshape it while it's wet, and lay it out on a flat surface (like the top of a towel horse) to dry.

Wash your hands with stainless steel silverware. It effectively removes onion smell, might work on drano too. Yes, I'm serious.

Just wash your hands in a combination of dish soap and comet or some other scrubbing cleanser. Or get a bar of Lava soap and wash your hands with that.
