Just curious of the ages of the people on here. I'm 29 - approaching 30 and sometimes not happy about it but then other days I don't really care. It's just a number right?!

I'm 36 in a few weeks, and my partner who also comes on here is 30-neither of us is happy about it lol,wish this ageing lark would slow down a bit!!

I'm 15 - 16 on 22nd December.
Sometimes I think that I've watsed my childhood working to get my straight A*s, but then again I've got a great bunch of friends and I get out quite a lot, too.
I think that so long as you have a good social life, you work (in moderation!) and can feel proud of your achievements (however small), then you haven't wasted anything.
It's just a number - not reflective of your personality or ability to do anything.
I know 18 year olds who bum out all day, left school with no qualifications and haven't really got a chance to improve themselves.
Then again, I know 80 year olds who are still running (or, rather, walking) marathons, sing in the local choir, are actively involved in the community and go out ballroom dancing with their other friends every week!
Now what does that tell you?!

I can remember being unhappy about approaching 30!
Am now 37 and on the slippery slope to 40..... Just love every minute you've got and for goodness sakes, stop worrying about the way you look. Keep your shoulder back and look people in the eye. YOu will never be this young and beautiful again. I look back at the younger me and could kick her for that self pitying angst she had back then when she really should have ruled her world.
