.I see it not as a bunch of threads with a beginning and an end but rather as a tapestry with each end tied into each beginning.it continues on to create the final picture.
To make an understandable story in the tapestry there must be an end to one color and the beginning of another.
Something Ive noticed is that if I refuse to let go of the old thread and take up the new , it begins to create itself ,go on without me ,so its best if I choose the the next thread myself and leave the old one behind.
there is no such thing as stability in life if what you call stability is stasis or comfort ability,We have a tendency to dig a rut in the middle of the road, decorate it and move in settling down and saying this is where ill stay .but life doesn't stand still .It just goes over us and eventually buries us in our hole.it all changes. As We are supposed to change, moving through the obstacle course of life ,each situation does its work on us, adding to or knocking off chunks of useless material .if a situation is coming to a close, then we have learned what we need to know or gained what we need to go on to the next step.that is what a beginning is for. it is the next step in the long line of steps of personal /social/universal growth.

It doesn't though does it...
When does the beginning have an end in sight? Can't say I have ever noticed this......
The beginning is the starting point. From where you ARE and where you START.
Anything after that is part of the on going journey....
Your birth was your beginning, there was / is no end in sight is there? Unless you are psychic and know exactly when you will die.....
People worry and fear the future exactly because they don't know what is to come... there is no end in sight and its stepping into the unknown.
How come you seem to be able to see all these endings?? You must have an extra "special" sense or something????

Whether an end is in view or not,a beginning (if it's there)shall be there. The source of every end is a beginning .What doesn't begin, doesn't end.On the linearity of time,a beginning and end may appear at opposite ends but in a cyclic event they are chasing each other and only a discerning eye can spot and differentiate between them.

Without a beginning an incident can't occur so there would be nothing and no end.
An incident begins run it's course goes out of existence and never occurs again.

wonderful question, makes me cut through all the maze that's in my mind when i am thinking to answer this.

in the beginning, it was all perfect...that which has begun was not supposed to end. but because man sinned against God, the living Lord, an end had to be put to it. but this end or death which we fear most is physical. the choices that we make now will determine the true end of the spirit that's within us.

to give each possibility a chance to fully realize itself and then turn around and reinvent itself to something entirely new. it's the process of change.

Remove time from the concept; then nothing.

Is 'time' merely a human concept?

Work the rest out for yourself...

Ours is not to reason why, ours is just to do and die.

It just proves that there is no intelligent creation because there is no reasoning behind anything.
