Steer clear of this girl! This is crazy stalker mentality. Even if she did it, the fact that she told you about it makes it really really really strange. RED FLAG. Don't make me have to come back to Ft Worth to rough up some chick who's messing with you!!

Sounds like someone is being very careful and protecting their self. It is easier to disassociate someone after one date than further into the relationship. What she has done is to make sure she should even have another date or not. People are using these types of checks to weed out those that they would later find incompatible for various reasons such as: criminal history, drug use, alcohol abuse, family violence, marital status, employment, financial, etc. Personally I think they are being smart in this day and age.

I'm not sure how I would take that. If I were living in certain areas of the country, I would do that, just to make sure I wasn't going out on a date with some guy who raped someone or something. Maybe she's had a nasty history of hooking up with con-artists or other criminal types and not finding out until she was deep into the relationship. Try taking it as being about her and not about you. Now she knows your not something awful she needs to fear, and can relax, so maybe that was her point in telling you. She was trying to tell you she KNOWS your a good guy...

lol...what the heck kind of impression did you make?? Did you tell her about the time that you hit some kid on his bike and drove off, or watched some hot chic in the house next to yours undress and "enjoy" herself in the shower, or what??
:-)
Just kidding. That is pretty nutty though. I've actually gone with a friend to our local courthouse and did a criminal check on a guy she had been dating for about a month. But, within that month he had shared his supposed 1 felony and 4 arrests and were afraid there might be more that he was lying about. I told her to leave regardless....I think they're still together though...I dunno, she disappeared...seriously. Creepy, huh?

Yes that is creepy but what is even more creepy is when your ex does it a month after you broke up. And calls a week later a proposes

Thats extremely creepy. The sad part is, what has the poor girl gone through already to make her have to be that way. I wouldn't be able to date someone who did that to me.

Yes. I had a guy at school tell me that he knew what my name was and then he asked me if i wanted to know how he knew he told me that he knew my sister's name so he looked for that and then found mine in the school computer it was really freaky.

i had a date who did that. totally went mad for my info before our first date. frankly it disturbed me because he knew where i went to elementary and stuff. but it really depends on who you're dating. my friend had a similar experience but instead of feeling freaked out she was a bit impressed(lol) i think it's okay to look for info on favorite food and favorite music but not really personal info like who their exes were or their social security number(don't laugh! it actually happened!)

During your first date, maybe he finds you interesting, beautiful, witty, and maybe..love at first sight? ..and now he wants to know more about you. Well, it's just okey if his intentions are good...and if you feel the same way, too.
