I think I have acid reflux. 32yrs old overweight female! I wake up with a bile tast in my mouth in the middle of the night and feel like something is coming back up my throat if I don't sit up. During the day I burp a lot. The back of my throat feels full and sore sometimes. I have 4 children so eat quickly at meal times is this what is causing it?

Does anyone know of a natural cure for it? Any other life style changes I need to make. Please help me I am a very busy mum and need to stay on top of things!

Thanks for reading this!

I have been plagued with acid reflux, leaky gut, constipation, reflux esophagitis and dyspepsia for years and nothing conventional medicine has offered really helped, at least not in the long run. By following only the first step in this book. https://tr.im/HeartburnNoMoreByJeffMartin
I was prescribed Lansoprazole which was brilliant but after two years of aching joints, extreme muscle pain which the doc gave me cortisone jags for, with some research I discovered the drug Lansoprazole was causing these rare side effects but it was I who diagnosed it NOT my doctor, I came off the drug 2 months ago, changed my diet and discovered just eating an apple stops any acid reflux, I eat an apple before bed, brilliant no acid, any time I feel the slightest sign of reflux I simply eat an apple.
Apple juice is not that good nor is anything else I have tried including honey at stopping reflux.

Hello, 2 years ago I was diagnosed with chronic acid reflux and a major inflammation in my esophagus and this program had done wonders for me. My heartburn and constant taste of acid in my mouth have all disappeared in less than 2 weeks

Lemon Balm tea would be a good start, at least to treat the symptoms. Diet ALWAYS plays a big part in this as well. Cut back on caffeine, it aggravates the problem, drink plenty of water, make sure your getting your fiber, constipation can cause pressure and aggravate the condition, and before meals you might try eating organic grapes (organic to avoid ingesting pesticides) the enzymes in grapes aid with digestion so your less likely to get that "urpy" feeling after eating. Avoid carbonated beverages, they will also aggravate the condition. Fennel is another herb that can help with the urpy burpy problem, it decreases gas in the digestive tract, and yes you can blend the 2 herbs in the tea, it tastes very pleasant. And lastly, increasing activity (physical) will also aid in this situation and also assist in taking off the weight ( also irritates the problem). There are several herb companies that you can purchase these herbs from on line, Mountain Rose, Frontier, San Francisco Herb are companies that I have purchased from fro years. Good Luck!!

Yes definitely slow down eating. Also cut out acidic food, like tomato based foods, citrus, spicy food and also deep fried foods. Also try not to eat within a couple of hours of going to bed. My husband also chews gum after each meal and this helps increases disgestive juice to aid digestion and stop the food coming back up. You can also try to prop yourself up in bed at night with a couple of pillows. Good luck.

I agree with the people who suggested apple cider vinegar. Put a tablespoon in a cup and fill with hot water. Drink first thing in the morning.

Lose weight. Slow down. Eat slowly. Don't eat anything for four hours before going to bed. Prop the head of your bed up by three inches. It won't affect your sleep.

I have had the problem for 30 years. These are the things that worked for me.

stay away from: chocolates, carbonated beverages, fried food, tomato products, citrus (acid) products. Use Tums as opposed to all those fancy products.
