Sure I do , but not from poverty , I grew up in a middle class home but there were years things were tough for the family. I remember working Christmas day bussing tables at my dads restaurant because he needed me and my brother , working at his furniture store free because he couldn't afford any employees and watching both of those businesses fail as a teenager. I always was a straight A student , not because I worked hard but because it came easy to me , I helped 3 of my closest friends graduate high school and felt good that I was able to help them. I went on to be successful in retail but quit and went back to school for architecture which is what I do now. This I love but as time gos on and my parents get older I find myself taking care of them, So yea if overcoming adversity is a good trait I do feel I'm self made. , The future, well we will have to see , things are slow in the housing world right now so its tough I'm just glad I have the time and patience to help my folks. i bought my own first car by saving while bagging groceries and moved out when I was 18, 2000 miles away to test myself in life. It might not sound as tough as others have had to endure and I'm sure it wasn't but I just keep on pushing. There is someone in my life but I don't know if that is going anywhere or not , it seems more like the latter .

I feel like I'm self redeemed(with God's help).
I was almost a self destroyed man.
