NY Giants, Chi Bears, GB Packers and lots that are not here anymore
It was more or less a barnstorming leaque in the early days
The late Wellington Mara purchased the Giants for like $500 back in the old days and today it is a multi million dollar business.
IN the old days players would play 12 games and then work real jobs in the off season, gas station attendant, sales man at the retail store.
In the 1960s it exploded with TV contracts
