I sometimes give them mental tips like "press the long thin one down, that car will take right off Grandma, this is a 65 mph zone!" or "that long thin lever is called a turnsignal, nothing bad will happen if you use it, I promise."

No. I wish I had a button on my car that I could press and make the offending driver and his/her car vanish and reappear in a different part of the city to bother someone else and get out of my way.

Yes. My Dad and I used to do this when I was younger. We would also make up names for people and say hello and their new name out the window! It was really funny to watch people respond with a nice big wave or hello back even if it wasn't their correct name. One time we yelled hello to a man painting a building on a ladder. We realized afterwards that was a horrible idea- thankfully he didn't fall. I still like to do this sometimes- especially when friends who don't know what I am doing are in the car. It's very fun and best on nice warm and sunny days when a lot of people are out and about!

Yes, I do...sometimes when I'm waiting my turn to get on the roundabout and get stuck behind an overly cautious driver, I start thinking "Go on...you can do it..get on out there..they wont hit you"....thats on the good days and on the bad, I wish my car had the ability to grow go-go gadget wheels that would lift my car way up in the air so I could just drive over them and get on my way or sometimes I wish I could give them a ticket or report them for holding up traffic. Sometimes I will sit there behind someone for 10 mins.

Mentally?

*Mild mannered Marianne on Yahoo Answers becomes Super Dee'monic Driver on the road.....weaving in and out of traffic, flipping off the grandmas........ yelling profanities at the teens....... Throwing up rocks with her tires at any driver seen talking on his cell phone. Smashing into the bumpers of the Sunday drivers and side swiping anyone that won't get out of her way. Clueless just ain't gonna cut it mister. LEARN from the master........ Bwahahahahahaha*

Oh Dan...... I always smile and lend these poor drivers a helping hand. That's the neighborly thing to do. *cough*

It is best for your mood to assume that other peoples' level of intelligence is on the same level as leading goldfish.

Also the species of "killer snails" are breeding unrestrained in my humble opinion. And they are in the middle of the road.

I often wish some guy cutting me off at 100mph meets up with a cop so I can roll down my window & say "Neenerneener Booboo!" Or alternately that he crashes into something but not hurting anyone else in the process.

Since I know where you are driving I have to agree. I'm in one of those annoying school buses you see on 235 and 135...just wishing some of them would wise up and get out of my way!!!

my tip is usually "learn how to drive or get off of the road!" i have a special one for drivers doing 35 on the ramp that merges you onto the freeway. don't want a violation so i won't say it.

I think the drivers understand the universal sign language that I show them and they get the hint quickly

My ex-wife would get mad if I gave someone the "one finger salute" for their driving skills, but thought nothing of belittling and yelling at a teenager who was making minimum wage at a store.
I guess we all have our own priorities in life.
