Hello ask w,
I am a little confused when you say you are pretty much homeless. I wish you had elaborated on that a little.
I doubt anyone here can categorically state whether you are or are not entitled to extra Housing Benefit or Council Tax Benefit, because it is calculated on an individual basis according to the laws and guidelines..
As far as Housing Benefit is concerned, normally if you are in receipt of Income Support, even though it may be only a few pence, you would be entitled to claim 100% of both your rent and council tax.
However I cannot find anything on amount restrictions due to age. Neither whether the rules are different for someone who is pregnant.
Rules regarding these payments can be a little complicated and my advice would be to go to your local council office and get their advice. They are the ones responsible for deciding entitlement to these two benefits and if you are entitled to more because you are pregnant.
You can also go to your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) which is a completely free and highly confidential service. They are experts in dealing with this kind of problem and will be able to advise and help you.
As you say you are also practically homeless may I also suggest that you contact 'Shelter'. They too should be able to offer help or advice on the issues you appear to be facing.
Below is a link to both the CAB Website and the Shelter website. It may be worthwhile visiting those.

The very best of luck and I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy and confinement.

hmm im not sure where u live but when i was 17 i got housing benefit and was getting the full amount for my property which was 55 a week (i live in manchester) any way i didnt have kids then and then i moved to a bigger house and they paid 60 a week, im now 23 and they are paying 81 a weeks. housing benefit generally doent go of your age it goes of the type of property u have and how suitable it is for the amount of people living in. and generally hb does generally change once u have had a baby for example say u have a 2 bed, if u live on ur own hb tend to only pay the goin rate for a 1 bed property as this is all thats needed, now when u have a baby an extra room is needed so the hb payments will go up to whatever the going rate is for a 2 bed property. i sympathise with u on the homeless front, i have been served notice from my property of my landlord which ends next week, he now has to go to court to get a possesion order before the council are willing to class me as homeless. if ur still living in a property then get some advice quick about ur situation as it could be avoided, like for example if u havent been served a proper notice or u havent been sent to court then you could add at least another 4/5 months living time in ur property. also if the courts could see no reason good enough to get u evicted, they wont evict u. anyway good luck with everything and get in contact with citizens advice bureaux and if its too late ask for emergency accomodation from ur local council they have to give u housing as u are in a vunerable catagory being pregnant and all.

I live in buckinghamshire and the way they calculated mine when i was claiming was by looking at my income and assessing what i could afford to pay then they paid the rest. There is no set amount. They were paying my full £550 a month while my husband was out of work. If your homeless then you need to contact the coucil and they will provide you with temporary housing til they have a council house available for you.

I don't know if it changes for you being pregnant, but I'm pretty confident that it goes up if you have a dependant. So once you have the wee one it might. You could maybe pop into the job centre and talk to an adviser about benefits while your pregant. Either that or the citizens advice beuro (sp?), That is if you from the UK.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/f87e9

go and see your local council housing office they will have a homeless housing officer that will assess your needs and help you find accommodation. They will likely need proof of pregnancy and your last known address.

Why don't you ring the welfare agency? And ask them, asking here you are never going to get a straight answer.
