What you see in that picture is a horse bleeding to death. It's happening in a city in Romania. He was hit by a car and his owner decided to kill him to get rid of him. The only way he could think of doing that, was by cutting its throat....
This is happening in a European Union country that has absolutely no valid laws to protect animals from any form of cruelty or suffering. A country where people of all ages find pleasure and enjoyment in beating animals to death, burning them alive, cutting their throats or ripping their bellies. A country where stray dogs are collected from the streets only to be killed by barbarian methods: locked in a cell and starved to death, gassed or poisoned....
The worst that can happen in Romania to someone who hurts, tortures or kills an animal is to get a fine. That is, to pay a certain amount of money. In most cases, he will escape even that. Do you think that's fair? Is it possible to assess a life's worth in the amount of the fine???...

i definitely would! that is so mean cuz i luv animals n wouldnt think of killing them evn if it wuz a species i didnt like. it really pisses me off that peopl r so unfeeling towards animals. they were created for us to admire n take care of n stuf like that....but evn if its 4nothing else, they should pass a law bcuz i think its been proven that peopl who r cruel 2animals, later on they show aggression towards othr humans. so they should protect animals n othr humans who mite b in danger at a later date.

yes of course I have signed. It is terrible that people who beat to death and burn animals alive do not go to jail, those are even worse than cutting a throat.
THANK YOU for trying to help animals in your country.

To Ana - I must say I think it is taking self righteousness to the point of self-defeat if you "hate it when meat eaters sign" petitions against cruelty to animals. I hate it that people eat factory farmed animals but I dont hate them to do something else to try to help decrease suffering of other animals .

OH MY GOD!!!!!

That is horrible to see that picture.
I am a COMPLETE animal lover and would sign a petition 100 Times.
And NO i do not think it is fair.
I cannot BELIEVE someone would cut an animals throat, rather than calling someone who would put it to sleep with an injection or even saving it.
Horrible to see that isn't it.?! ♥
Once again i would DEFINITELY sign a petition against animal cruelty.

Sadly there is still a lot of cruelty in the UK too! It's perfectly legal to torture animals (including primates) in the name of science. It's also legal to factory farm animals, which is appalling. We seem to like 'certain' animals in this country, which we protect, but other are treated with great cruelty. Yes I always sign petitions against any sort of cruelty to animals...

I've been supporting petitions against animal cruelty for years. It breaks my heart! I used to have a T-Shirt that said "Stop Animal Testing" ... oh, and I had a "Pay No Poll Tax" T-Shirt too!
Just a bit of useless information there.
I don't know if they actually get enjoyment out of it - it's their way of life, unfortunately, and they don't think twice about what they do.

No question... I WILL SIGN.

I am a hardened soldier and I weep when I see such cruelty to animals. Really what is this world coming to. Life in any form is worth nothing. It is true: "what you sow you will reap". Small wonder that the world is in the state that it is in. Today an animal tomorrow a child etc etc etc.

I am shocked and appalled by this. I'm a huge animal lover, and I think it is disgraceful what is going on. I'm backing it all the way.
