I was interested in getting an ipod but I had heard that you can`t change the battery if it should die. I know you can recharge the battery but not replace it. Is this true and has anyone had an ipod battery die on them.

They take a long time to die, but I hear if you send your ipod back to apple they can replace them for you. There are some sites that show you how to replace your own battery but it's a difficult process that requires you to 'unglue' your ipod. It's best you send it back to apple and have them do it .. for a price then to attempt to change it yourself.
