I dont know whether i'm too short for my age or not....I'm an Indian... All my frndz are taller than me... I feel kinda embrassed for my height.

5'1 is still considered 'average' for womens height. I'm 5'1 and 19 years old. Believe it or not, there are perfectly normal grown women even smaller than you are. Your height is fine, but seeing as how you are 14, you probably still have a little growing left to do.
Look at it this way : the shorter the girl, the taller the guy :p

U r perfectly alright...... The average height for most indian women is 5'2" to 5'3"... I am 22 yrs old and jus lil short than 5'....... I've friends who are much shorter than i am.... U can grow til u r 18-19yrs old..... But if its in ur genes, then cant really help abt it.... but u can try sports like basket ball, swimming etc and u can do some pull ups....... Helps a lot.... My dad was short wen he was young, but he gained almost 5inches only by doing pull ups wen he was 20yrs old.... I was plain lazy to do al these things, and moreover im happy wit the way i look.... So jus chill and relax, u'l grow tall.......

Your height is just right. The average height for a woman is 5'0"-5'5". I'm 5' 1 1/2" and my grandma was 5' 2".

i think the average height for women is 5`3" so your not short plus your only 14 you have a few more years growing yet

I'm 18 years old and I'm 5'1''...i don't think you're way too short. Nothing wrong with being small, i have been for all of my life. Learn to love yourself for who you are. I'm an American Texan btw.

i just went to the hospital today for a check up and I'm the same age and height as u and the doctor said i was perfectly average!!^-^

Well, I'm 13 and I'm just under 5 foot. I'm American btw. I'm some what short, but so is my mom, so I'd say your not that short.

Well, I know a Year 12 indian girl and she is shorter than me by far and i'm 5'8, so i guess it's pretty normal.
