I hate just saying hello. I sometimes say, "Yellow is a color, not a greeting, Yo this is Zora." I wish I had something funny to say when I greet someone on the phone. Any ideas?

When I was younger I too got bored with just saying "Hello", when I answered the phone. So, I started making up poems and rhymes and jotting them down, and using them to answer the phone. I knew all of the old familiar greetings, like-"Joe's pool hall, this is the 8 ball speaking", and a few other ones. I decided to start using the poems and rhymes that I had written, just to see how well they went over. At least now days we have caller ID. Back then we didn't. lol Needless to say, I got embarassed a few times, but it was still funny. You should give it a try. You have to remember that there was no such thing as rap when I was growing up. But I would say something off the wall, for way back then. Like:......."Now if you're calling to show some love; you might be rewarded from up above; But if you're calling to show some hate; your not important, your "sh-t" can wait. Come now & tell me which is the case; Are we gonna kiss or should I slap your face...Come on & tell me which one it is; are you gonna get slapped or get a big ole kiss"......... I'm sure that as young as you are and as much rap as you've heard, it will be very easy for you to come up with 3 or 4 different ways to answer the phone & still have fun with it. lol good luck, sweetmeaner

a greeting as what you see when you flip up your phone?? just write "hello :)" or your name (but spice it up, like if you have an "i" instead write "!" or an "a" to "@" etc. if you're talking voicemail, say something like "hi" and say "hold on" after a while and then be like "oh, please put a message after the beep" to be like a TRICK :) LOL TO THE PERSON ON TOP OF ME!!!
