i dont expect any back, but its exciting when you do.ive noticed over the past fews years tho, that you get one after you have sent it,meaning, its as tho they are just returning it becos they got it,not as tho you were on a list.i always have mine done by the begining of december and i love it when ive got lots, but im the same for birthdays and easter,we make cards+wrap, this year is our recycling yr of gifts, papers etc.sometimes you get presents you dont need,so we have a recycle box and pass it on to some1 else, with an added something extra.everyone stays on my list, regardless of a returned card or not.

no i love all my family, but i know a few of them cant afford to send cards to everyone for that kind of stuff, and sometimes i might forget, but when i remember i get it in the mail, even if its late, i have been really good and had cards purchased 3 months in advance, i bought Christmas cards on clearance last Christmas, for this Christmas, i usually have them filled out and addressed in early November, and in the mail by December first, but when my kids are in school, i have time to get stuff like that done, and then it gives people that may not know my address time, to get a card out for me, but if i don't get one, i am not worried and i don't take them off my list, its understandable and i might get one next time who knows

No. I don't always send cards but it's more because I'm not in the holiday spirit or I just never got around to doing it. I'm sure other people feel the same and I allow it w/out vengeance.

My list always grows every year regardless if I get a card in return. I think of it as a lesson in Karma. If you care about the person/people then keep sending them. It will be appreciated. Also, keep in mind that some people simply do not send out cards.

no because it is better to give than to receive... you don't know what is happening in their lives and what could have prevented them from sending one back...
on the reverse, if I don't send a card to someone that sends one to me, I make sure they are on my list for the next occasion
