Given that women soccer don't get the some sponsorship as men teams in most country.
Alot of the Australian women I believe raised their own money to go.
I think with the exception of America other country are the same

i know Melissa the goalkeeper for the matildas and trust me it is no burden to her. she loves combining work and playing for the matilda's . she plays in the victorian league amongst guys who are amateurs and have jobs too. instead she gets to play for australia. and she and the girls did get some bonus money for qualifying for the quarter final

if u r interested in football , then u can surely find time for both job and football. get into some clubs.
