It's 1:30 in the morning, I barely finished my AP Bio homework right now. I still have 2 free response questions to do, and on top of that I have to study for TWO tests (AP Bio, APUSH).
Seeing that I won't be able to read 100+ pages of AP US History, 80+ pages (review) of AP Bio, and get enough sleep, I'll be "sick" tomorrow.
I was sick on Wednesday too so I was thinking something along the lines of:
"My son was sick on absent on Wed. because he was sick and we took a risk by sending him to school on Thursday to catch up on work, but it ultimately ended up with a worse cold than the initial one." Bad I know but it's just a rough draft
Help lol

That's ridiculous. Holidays are, basically, sensible breaks in routine that the pagan 'religions' established based on natural cycles and transitions and the dates have been standardised. The specific dates don't always fall on the same days as the standardised dates but the standardised dates ARE the pagan holidays. There's been a few odd days added to the list for secular commemorations over the years but they're separate things. There's a couple of problems on both sides with this example. First, the Wicca/Pagan 'religions' were never meant to be religions. They are only analogies for nature used as teaching aids to make the subject more interesting and easier to remember. This woman is an opportunistic fundie wanting both the holidays for the same standardised and specific thing (like the Queen and her birthday). The other problem, of course, is "approved religions". There should be no approved religions and, as I've said, Pagan isn't religious. It's just nature observed. Apart from all that, when a parent decides not to send a kid to school for a day or two or three or a week, the school can have no objection, at all. Beyond being informed that the child isn't the subject of a missing persons enquiry, the reason for a parentally approved absence from school for a short time is no business of the school's to excuse whatsoever. If the school ever excuses school absence it is on behalf of the parents. If the parents excuse it themselves the school just has to put up with it.

My son is Sick. Sick of AP classes. Sick of reading, sick of homework, sick of us forcing him to take the AP not regular track classes, he wanted to take. He must get into the best university.
He doesn't read . Does his homework at the last minute. He needed to find out the types of questions on your test from his lab partner who was at school today, taking the test. Do you think he will pass your class? Is he too far behind already? If I call you everyday and annoy you will you pass him?
Oh I'm sorry I was translating what the teacher would "see"
So I think My son had a cold & sore throat will do just fine.
Good luck.

Get your homework done earlier. Get to sleep at night earlier. Don't try and hone your lying skills. Stop whining. These years in school will probably be the easiest times of the rest of your life.

"Please excuse my son for being absent Wednesday and Thursday. He had a major flareup of chronic liar's affliction this week, so we had to keep him home before he caused any more damage."

you dont need to get creative and come up with all kinds of excuses. keep it simple.
"my son was sick with a fever on wed. and still isnt feeling better. please excuse his absences."
hopefully your mom is covering for you and your able to make up your tests.

i would say why did you wait so long to do your homework? aren't you a grown adult?.........sickness wont help just tell him you ran out of time because you have been really busy....your professor wont care and you will fail because you had ample amount of time...
