Satan is mentioned in the bible but vampires, werewolves and bigfoot are'nt and if you mixed the 2 you would be getting questions like how do you teach mythological creatures in sunday school? Here are some of the problems we are having with the mythological sunday school class please help advise.Every time we sprinkle holy water on the vampires they hiss,melt and burst into flames.We don't have a lake around here to baptize bigfoot in because he keeps deflating our kiddie pool.And lets not forget the werewolf, they're ok unless there is a evening sunday school on a full moon night and his howling interrupts the church choir. If you left the 2 categories together it would be way too confusing I would think.

Religion I think is more something that is imposed on you from childhood whereas spirituality is more of a personal preference .Most everybody is pulled into one direction or the other when young ,but when yiou start finding things out on your own and start forming your own opinions then spirituality steps in in a big way .

Not only is it used for myth and folklore, it is also a place for people to ask the "unusual" religion questions that would get severely bashed under the Religion &Spirituality catagory...like anything pertaining to paganism.

I would say that its different, because not everyone believes in the folklore and mythology. This is where the researchers are. We like to see what kind of paranormal issue is worth dealing with today. It's a place for parapsychology and the stuff that goes along with it.

since its more on urban myhths , folks and tales.
while the other category is more focused on religion and spirituality which mean that theres no space for zeus and venus in the place of jesus and alah :)
