When I was growing, we used to make fun of all the blue-haired ladies, but now I occasionally see these old birds with the LAVENDER rinse in their hair! Does anyone have a grandma with lavender hair, or do you know any old bird with the lavender rinse in her hair?!?

Well my granmother's hair is white, she doesn't dye her hair. The other grandmas's hair is 'blonde', uh,um yeah, obviously at 88 she color treats her hair.
I saw one a couple of months ago w/a periwinkle hue to her wig.

When I was young it was as black as a raven's wing and hung down to my waist. So I worked hard to get these white hairs, Sonny! No lavender rinse for me! And I ain't no Old Bird either! I bet I forgot more than you'll ever know....Old Bird indeed. HA!! And yeah, I'm a Granny too.
