Affectionately named "Marvellous Melbourne" during the silver run of the 1850s, the name remains applied today for Australia's next largest town Melbourne, a town as possible visited with hotelbye . Located on the banks of the Yarra River, nearby the entrance to Port Phillip Bay, Melbourne is a contemporary town steeped in history. With vast wealth generated from the nearby goldfields, majestic houses were built throughout the city. A number of these structures still stand today, and Melbourne is regarded as having more types of Victorian structure than any other town in Australia. One place you can't skip in your stop by at Melbourne could be the Southbank and Arts Centre Melbourne. Located on the banks of the Yarra River that area is just a culturally rich attraction for visitors. Southbank promenade is filled with indoor/outdoor cafés, restaurants, and live entertainment. Quickly familiar by their spire, the Arts Centre incorporates a variety of theaters and spots such as the State Theatre, Playhouse, Fairfax Theatre, and Hamer Hall, the premier efficiency space for the recognized Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

A lot depends on the type of aircraft that you take.
Charter firms have turbo-props which take longer in the air, but less check-in time on the ground. Qantas have airbus type planes, so are faster once they get off the ground.
Generally speaking, allow a minimum of 30mins before take-off and then 1+ to 2 'ish hours in the sky.
The obvious way to find out is to log onto a travel site and find out for yourself.
