Who designed the crest for the rock group Queen?

I read it was designed based on the groups zodiac signs. I think Freddie Mercury thought it up.

Freddie Mercury designed it using the 4 band members birth signs of the zodiac.

I could be wrong here but I believe it was Freddie Mercury himself who did it.
