Florida, LSU, Kentucky all have high powered, high scoring offenses. Arkansas has the best ground game in the nation. Tricky part is.. LSU, Auburn, South Carolina, and Mississippi St have some of the best Defenses in the nation.. me personally I'll take a stout Defense over a good offense any day.. besides it's easy to score 40+ a game when the defense sucks (see Pac 10).. that's why on draft day more SEC players are picked than any other conference... and 5 of the top 10 schools represented in the pro's right now are SEC teams (Georgia, Florida, LSU, Tennessee and Auburn).. exactly 0 of those top10 schools are Pac-10.. 2 Big 12 (Texas and Oklahoma) 1 Big 10 (Michigan) and 2 ACC (Miami and Florida St)

Last time I checked Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama have all scored over 30 points in thier last few games.

I agree totally; take out Florida and LSU, and the SEC doesn't scare anyone. Alabama and South Carolina have terrible offenses, Miss St. is Miss St.; Kentucky beats Arkansas at home. The SEC in general is down this year.

The SEC is the best conference but they are not a dominate conference. There is USC, LSU, FLORIDA, and OU and then there are holes in the rest of the teams. Auburn is the team that I dont' get. Every year they play a joke of schedule and they are always rated so high. They were exposed again this year.

Also, look at the non-coference schedule they play? They used to play Oklahoma, USC and other teams but they consistently lose. Tennesee got blitzed in California and Auburn was dominated by Kansas St. and their stupid coach, and really are lucky to be 2-2.

LSU(great team)
Alabama (great defense terrible offense)
Mississippi State (at times pitiful and a terrible offense)
Auburn (overrated again, losing to south florida and MIss. st. at home; should have lost to K state)
Arkansas (offense is enemic and one dimensional at times; talent does not fit the offensive scheme)
Ole Miss (usually gets one near upset a year and then goes back to being ole miss)

Florida (great team)
Kentucky (underrated; will need to see against the big boys though.)
Georgia (Another overrated team; Offense is terrible at times; defense is good but not great)
South Carolina(avg at best offense; vulnerable defense, especially against the run; spurrier should get them up to speed with next years recruits)
Vanderbilt(a little above terrible.)
Tennessee (one of the worst Vol defenses in 2 decades.)

Outside breaker; Dont let the facts get in the way of a good story. You may worship SEC football, but I dont'. Stop watching Lee Corso and ESPN and look at whats happening. Last year they dominated; this year look at each team and they aren't a typical SEC. Still the best but the Pac 10 is up with Oregon, USC and Cal, and the Big 10 and Big 12 are down with only OU and Texas.

Again, offensively only LSU and Florida are studs. Tennessee has their moment and so do Kentucky, but the rest are not good offensive teams. They dominate defensively.

I don't agree with that. The defenses are very good and when they play each other, sometimes there are low scores.
