Sitting down, one pulls down his trousers/pants and relieves all outside pressure...and thereby the kidneys can better empty. Standing is by far, a quicker way...but when done in a hurry...there can always be the risk of an "unwanted drip" (or two)...which can pose an embarassment if the trousers/pants aren't dark. For me...it depends how much time I have, what color trousers/pants I'm wearing, and how "empty" I need to be. (For instance, if I'm going to be in a car for a long period of time, with little or no chance of a rest-stop, I want to be as empty as possible before I set out).

Not if I pee in my bed, which is extremely rare and hasn't happened since 1988, when I was 8. I also pee when I am sitting on the toilet, "reading a newspaper."

I know a guy that never stands up. I asked him why he sits to pee and he says it's more comfortable. I just think he's way to lazy!

When at home I sometimes sit.
And I always sit if it's the middle of the night, because I don't want to turn on the bathroom light.

yep whats the point of pulling down my pants when all i have to do is unzip pull it out and aim.
