by risking your life i meant...if they were in danger of dying...like saving their life...

Yes. Love means always putting others before yourself. It is completely selfless in its purest form. However, one cannot truly care for others until he/she cares for him/herself. If there is any self-hatred, it will be projected onto others. But yes, if one loves a fellow human being, then yes, he/she will put the life of that other person above his/her own.

That is a broad question. It all depends on what you're risking your life for. If you're risking your life because they're being a dummy and your love blinds you to their erroneous ways then it's not love. It just all depends on the situation.

I think it depends on the person. Some people just wouldnt be able to put their life in danger and would rather stay away from being harmed. But then another person might do anything because thats just who they are.

thats a way of explaining it but i think that love means caring for someone unconditionaly and not asking them to change because you love the person they are not the person they could be
