Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people who doesn't believe in global warming, but is the world going to die? And how does saving the environment save the world?
I'm not so sure about the "save the world" message. I think the world is doing just fine. In fact, relative to it's size, I don't think we can do much more damage to it than a few microscopic indentations.
As for our living environment... yeah, I suppose that'd be important to have if we want to continue living here.

I totally agree with The Matrix point of view on humans. We are like parasites. We breed and multiply, and spread until every natural resource on the planet is gone. Haha. Yes, I do heed your warning. I recycle whenever I can. :o)
