No, I just want equal rights under government. Meaning that I will not be treated differently because I am a girl.

If you still fancy holding the door for a lady in a brilliant dress, then feel free. I'm not suggesting that men and women are not different and should act like androgynous robots, only that anyone should have the full freedom to exercise their brainpower in any field whatsoever, provided they are capable. And yes, a few ladies like to parachute out of planes and to do things traditionally considered in a "man's" world.

I don't think equality and chivalry are mutually exclusive. There does seem to be a glass ceiling, with only 5% of top management positions held by women. I don't think this is only cultural. I also think women need to speak up and make their voices heard to negotiate contracts that usually go to men. I also think there needs to be more openness to a woman who wants to balance children with a career -- it's too much either/or these days. I'd love to see more qualified women represented in government, as is seen in many European countries. We're definitely behind in terms of female leaders. I'm not speaking in favor of quotas or sexism in any way, I'm merely pointing out some of the inequities.

Edit: Thanks, anytime!

Yes I think they should have the same rights. One thing is the way they dress. They say it is to compete with other women. I think that is bulls***. They do it to compete for guys. Sorry got off the subject. Yes I agree to a point!
