You're obviously not learning from your mistakes. The most successful people in life, generally, make more mistakes than anyone else. The difference is that they learn from their mistakes...or bad descisions. You know the difference between right and wrong. If you do drugs or drink too much, then stop. If you're associateing with the wrong people, then start saying "No". You need to break out of this cycle. How? Consider the above items, then go out and find something that you are really interested in. This might create what you perceive as more bad decisions, but what you are really doing is eliminating possibilities on your way to finding a passion...which is what you are lacking. I don't know how old you are, where you live, or what your resources are, but libraries are free. When you're there, ask about groups. Volunteering is a terrific way to wrap your head around new and interesting things. Don't be afraid to commit. Everyone through goes this...Best of luck!

1. Build a good support network of people who do have things together and who do make good choices.
2. When faced with a decision, make your mind up, ask for opinions, consider the answers and then either change your mind or do what you planned.
The only way to change is to start doing something different. There is something in your life holding you back. You need to figure out that that thing (or those things) are and move forward. No, not easy, but necessary.
I have to agree though that the question is a bit vague. If you gave us more detail perhaps we could help more.

Right now I can tell you are feeling vulnerable and as you might be asking shady people to help you I want to send you to the local library in your town to take out, or order a book called AS A MAN THINKETH by James Allen. It was written over a 100 years ago and it explains why & how you think directs your actions and your actions can create triumph or mistakes. Read that book several times, also type into a search engine like google or blingo.com the words "the power of thought" and you will come up with various websites that let you read old books with powerful messages. Many messages with the good advise of the bible. Ask the universe for help and insight, be heart felt and sincere and you will be given guidance. I promise you. Many blessings. Also stay away from unemployed, substance abuse people, learn to be alone and like your own company for awhile until you are feeling stronger and emotionally self reliant so you learn not to settle or put up with others who hamper your progress. Believe in yourself.

If you keep making bad decisions, then you shouldn't be confident. Start making good decisions and then your life will be more stable and you will be more confident. If you want a more specific answer, don't ask such a vague question.

don't put too much blame in your self just because you've made a mistake. that is what you need to do!
everybody makes mistakes, and from those mistakes you will learn, as you keep making mistakes you also keep on learning and that would make you a better person.
