You do not have a small mind. Many of our greatest inventors and thinkers had problems in school. Albert Einstein never even finished school. And the great inventor Thomas Edison didn't finish high school.

The point is that the learning process is different for many people. But one thing you can do to help improve your grades and remember more is something called 'word association.'

How is works it like this: Say you are expected to remember the name of some country you learned about in history class. What you can do is think of words that remind you of that country. Like tea and being cold. If you're supposed to remember Russia, you think about Russia being cold while in class. If you're supposed to remember China you think about tea or dragons while in class. Then the next day in class if you can't remember the name Russia then you can remember the others easy words you thought about and when you think about it being cold you'll think about Russia.

It will take you a little time to get used to doing this but it will work. Trust me. And you can apply word association to everything from science or history or art or language.

Learning can be hard on some. I know because I was a slow learner. But you will some learn that the more you learn the easier it will become.

Memory exercises, go out and memorize numbers maybe, there're computer programs for that sort of thing too. Most important part is working hard and practicing.

Try to think of one thing about what you need to remember, like a color, a place, a thing and match that thing to what you need to remember. If you relate a fact to something simple, you are more likely to remember the fact.

to exercise your mind, with any kind of process. for example :
- Try to calculate simple mathematic calculation (DONT USE CALCULATOR !!!)
- Play Mind/Memory Games (it would help you a lot)
- You have to force your mind to memorize when you put something, do something, or talk to whom
- Try to understand your lesson, it would help you to memorize the lesson.
