what do you know, what do you opine of this? woudl ruin my vacation plans ithink. should i come back later when they've caught him lol

I saw that guys post on your question about rental cars. I live in Central Austin and I travel to San Antonio regularly. I have not heard a thing about a serial killer. I was actually about to get on google and see if I could find anything. I think it may have been someone just spouting off. I just watched the news and I feel quite sure it would have been reported. I also had coffee this morning with a group of women and I think they would have said something. Come to Austin, have a great time and don't worry about the freaks who sometimes post on here. I'll write to you again if I come up with anything.

I live in San Antonio and have lived in and around the San Antonio/Austin area all my life. I watch the news and read the papers. As far as I know there has only been one murder in this area confirmed to be that of a serial killer. He was a traveler, killed 5 people in Texas and moved on and has since been caught.. There is no current news about any suspected serial killers in SA. A search of the city of SA police department website does not reveal any information regarding a potential serial murder threat.
I think it is safe to come on vacation.
After all, my familty and I have lived in this city and Austin and the Hill Country area between for decades and so far no murders, so your odds for a short visit seem pretty good. Of course robbery, now that I won't make any guarantees about, LOL

well i go to ut austin and i just got back from walking around austin in the apartment areas and it is about 1 AM. if i have a girl over or if i'm ever with a girl i usually propose me walking her home since i don't trust the streets of austin since they can be a little dark and creepy. i wouldn't worry about it much here though since austin is pretty good with crime. travel in multiples, never alone.
