It's seems like you're not trying very hard. Nothing is going to come your way, you have to go get it. High school projects are good to start with, but you have to branch out. Nothing is going to fall into your lap. You need training outside of school. Get into acting classes and workshops, get into theatre, college student films and indie films to build your resume, then once you have all that covered start sending your headshots, resumes and cover letters to agents. Look for auditions on backstage.com & actorsaccess.com. Make absolutely certain mom and dad are 1000% ok with what you're doing or you'll have to wait until you're 18. Even then, I hope they support you because this is a hard world and you'll need someone to be there for you and look out for you.
A list of reputable agents can be found here: http://www.sag.org/sagWebApp/application?origin=sagagentsearform.jsp&event=bea.portal.framework.internal.refresh&pageid=Hidden&cp=AgentInformation&templateType=multipage&portletTitle=Agent+Relations&contentType=Agent+Relations&contentSubType=Links&idx=0 but don't bother sending them anything until you've had quite a bit of training and built up your resume some more. Remember that you do not pay agents anything up front!!! They get paid when you do! SAG has a lot of info so read up.
good luck!

This is the missing link to the puzzle: BUSINESS SKILLS.
Your number one priority should be getting some good training. Why? Because you will need it to have a better chance of being successful in the long term. Here are 23 advantages to taking classes in my opinion: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/taking_acting_classes.html .
Secondly, if you don't have at least a part of or some of the skills you will find on this page link, then you will find it difficult to be successful in any profession you choose as a FREE-LANCE PROFESSIONAL. http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/acting_business.html .
And you know what else? Without those skills, you will probably be waiting for a long, long time for opportunities to come your way.
There is a saying I really like:
"The more prepared I am, the more luck I seem to have."
When you go to that link I gave you here above, notice the slogan that is written at the top of the page to right of my picture. You have to position yourself so that opportunities come your way. To do that, you have to have those skills. You have to know how to attract the right people. You have to know how to get people to see your work. AND when those opportunities do come your way, because you have prepared yourself and positioned yourself to be in places where those opportunities are likely to find you, you must be ready! Being ready means, being as well trained as you possibly can be!
Why don't you download my free ebook while you are at the site. You will see the prompt on the right column. Just sign in and you will be able to access it and you will also receive a 7-day ecourse as well.
I hope to have given you something to think about. Read and Study!
Last thing: Then after all this, instead of saying, "I could turn out to be someone an agency is looking for.", you could think about adopting the attitude and striving in this direction, "I will transform myself into the kind of actor that every agency will want!" That kind of thinking will guide you in everything you do to become the best that you can be!
Good luck to you!
Tony

You might be someone an agency is looking for. I need to know where you live in order to give you the best advice. It seems likely that you will need some acting experience. so read my profile and write to me at my aol address where I mentor aspiring actors for free. I have students all over the US and in several other countries.

It's a tough business to break into. Go to college and take more courses while continuing to act in college and community theater. If you live in an area that has casting calls, go for every part you can so you can be seen. Unfortunately you may need to move to do this but wait until you are at least out of school.
Break a leg.

You should go to a reputable acting coach and start taking lessons. That person could recommend you to an agency.
Good luck!
