There are actually some foolproof ways that don't require a detective or very much time. Learn body language. For example, if you ask your wife a question that YOU KNOW she will lie about, she will immediately raise her left eyebrow and blink. This will happen in a millisecond, so watch closely. You may even want to tease her about some things, just so you can study this human reaction. No one can hide this reaction when telling a lie. It crosses all races, ethnicities, gender, etc. So, once you've mastered this, you can then discover the truth and nothing but the whole truth.
PS: Don't tell anyone my little secret ;-)

Ask them, you knew them well enough to marry them you should know them well enough to know when they are lying to you.
And if you believe your partner is cheating you need to re-evaluate your relationship as the trust is not there.

Listen to what they say. How they say it. When they get angry, because you asked. An a change in behavior is always a good sign. Beside they will attend to blame you for the bad things in the relationship. An when you try to fix it. They often want to say that you wasn't doing your job. When it was them who wasn't doing there.

send an sms or email pretending to be someone else from a number ur spouse doesnt recognize, see if he/she respons and how far it can go.....then u can know

Go through her purse you nontrusting little sneak and when you don't find anything there drop yourself in to motivation killing depression and quit your job and follow her to work and sit outside her work all day and peek in her office window and see if she is working then follow her home and when you don't find anything there either start accusing her of cheating on you to see if she will cave in and when she tells you to go to hell for not trusting her and accusing her of such things don't come crying to us loser. Try trusting, not testing.
