"What might be some of the reasons for a tourist leaving a tour before it is finished? How should a guide handle this?

1.The reason due to personal illness,job or urgent matter at home and some special reason. After discussion of the travel and organizing agencies,the tourist can quit the tour group and obtain a refund for the services not yet received..

2.The tourist has no special reason,just beacuse some request can't satisfy,the guide should persued them not to quit the group. If due to our obligation,we should try our best to make up.If the tourist put forward unreasonable request and insist that he is unable to obtain a refund for the service not yet received.

3.If the travel agency and services are too bad,it can lead the whole tour group to quit,this condition is too troublesome,and it can be deal with according to regulation."

1. The reasons are. Personal illness, job related problems or urgent matters at home. After discussions with the Travel and Organizing agencies, the tourist can quit the tour group and obtain a refund for the services not yet received.

2. The tourist has no special reason. If the tourist wishes to quit because some requests can't satisfied, the guide should persuade them not to quit the group. If it is our obligation, we should try our best to make the tourists request‘s become reality. If the tourist persists in putting forward unreasonable requests, then he is not able to obtain a refund for the services not yet received.

3. If the travel agency and services are continually inferior, it can lead to the whole tour group quitting the tour; this condition is unusual but troublesome. It can be dealt with according to regulation.*

Personal opinion:
Disasters are not predictable. A tourist should not have to pay for a trip that has been canceled due to disaster. The company and the tourist should arbitrate and come to a mutually agreeable conclusion.
