(a/b) = e^0
a/b = 1
a = b

For a,b>0, then

ln(a)=ln(b). Since the ln function is obviously one-to-one then it follows that a=b.

a = b (if b > 0)

Because if it didn't then you would have some sort of remainder. Also In(a) = In(b).

If b is not positive then the equation won't work either.
