A man on here (Y!A) just called me an idiot, & I feel so hurt. That's just so disrespectful. Just because you don't agree with my opinion doesn't make me an idiot.

don't take what he says to heart...besides you don't know him anyway.and if he thinks your question was stupid then he's the idiot for answering.he's just mad that he didn't know the answer,he couldn't comprehend.some men get mad when they think you are smarter than him.

Oh! My Dear! If someone calls you an idiot, that signifies the quality of their upbringing and has absolutely nothing to do with you personally. That sort of behavior is a deeply appreciated red flag to you, as well as to the rest of us, to never EVER have anything to do with the offender again. After all, one can only blame so much on a bad upbringing, since plenty of folks have recovered from that sort of thing. Just be glad that everyone will see his behavior and that HE will pay for it in the end.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion and if someone does not agree with yours, it should not have resulted in name calling. So I would say yes it's slap in the face. I'm sorry it happened.
