He was most famous for scoring the earlier James Bond Movies. He did a lot of memorable theme songs for those movies but finally retired from doing them after "Licence To Kill".

he is too good, mega hit TV old TV programs had his scores, in my opinion the best he gave is the tilttle music of The Persuaders, * Tony Curtis and Roger Moore, its a must listen.
