MADE IN ENGLAND
MADE IN GERMANY

Well with all this things that is going on, all i see is worry. I'd rather pay more to get a better quality than risk my life. I saw a news segment on ABC today that scared the hell out of me. An item that was sold by some baby equipment compay which was made in China killed this 10 month old baby boy. Now i'm not a parent but can you imagine what is happening to that family. A spokesperson for thier products said that China is good in finding defects like that, and that it's only 1 in a 1000. How dare they, 1 in a 1000 is a big number, and they should do something about it, or US should let things like that get imported, or they should spend more time and money and investigate everything. By going the way they are they won't make money for a long time becasue consumers are going to pass on products that are imported from China. All i know is from now on i'm checking the labels before making my purchases except clothing for now even though they don't last that long either, even if you paid from a upscale place.

"Walmart" LOL. Actually, it is hard to find things NOT made in China. I think that for the most part China is like Japan in the late '60s, the butt of many jokes now, but will surpass us in quality during the next decade. If you are an engineer, look carefully at their stuff; the manufacturing quality is improving very quickly from year to year, and the prices remain very reasonable. Their test and reliability programs are what are decades behind us now, but they have come to realize that after the Chinese car import debacle a couple of years ago.

I think, "oh wow, what a surprise. Everything else is made in china too, why not this?" The US will never stop building factories in China cuz its really, REALLY cheap. I went there and found out that most people get paid a quarter an hour.

I am upset. Not at China but at our Government and corporate America for not taking care of it's own. Exporting jobs and there are literally millions who are out of work. We are now the hardest working people on the planet and yet there are very few products that say "Made In America".

I don't buy it.
I try always to purchase local produce from local farmers here in Ireland.
I always try and buy Made In Ireland goods.
I accept that at times I could save a few pennies by buying cheaper forgein goods, but I like to keep my my in my own country / community. Which gives local people jobs and regenerates monies back into the community

Cheaply made, poorly designed, overpriced junk made by mostly young women who likely can't afford to buy the items themselves.
