When you get a thumbs up how do you feel? Thumbs down?
I 'm just wondering, because I feel sort of let down with a thumbs down and enlightened ith a thumbs up.

yeap, same here..
especially when u get best answers and u get thumbs down plus comments especially from answerers' which are not considered postitive..really demoralising..but u'll get over it..
getting best answers w thumbs up AND positive comments are really uplifting..makes u feel appreciated and stuff..=))

I'm annoyed, especially when it's a silly question like "What's your least favorite food?"...C'mon, since when do people deserve thumbs-down for stating their opinion?
Then again, I answer some questions just to argue with the asker, or point out their stupidity. In those cases, I would have been surprised if I didn't get a thumbs-down.

I feel kinda upset & hurt when I get a thumbs down ( sometimes I think it's funny though)
I'm pretty happy when I get a thumbs up. It lets me know someone else agreed with how I felt or thought what I'd said was funny.

It gets annoying when people disregard an answer you have put effort into answering (not crap answers), cos you even bothered to look and answer their question in the first place. But getting a thumbs up is a real good motivation for you to carry on helping answers solve their doubts or inquries... :)

A thumbs up feels good, no doubt. A thumbs down either makes me laugh or raise my eyebrows; doesn't necessarily make me feel let down or sad. It's just quizzical sometimes. I attribute that to trolls.

I feel the same way-especially if it is God's honest truth, actual life experience...HOW the eff can people give thumbs down to LIFE EXPERIENCE??? Pff. Lemmings. They see one thumb down on a half-way or all the way decent answer, and they follow suit.

If I get thumbs down, I haunt them FOREVER. (like deck the halls) But if they give me a thumbs up, I add them to my contacts.

Much like you, but the 'up' lasts about 5 seconds, and the 'down' about 2.
