Im doing a college progect on the legalization of drugs. just tell me it you would use drugs if they were lega, and which ones. If you already use drugs, which ones and would you use more?

Yes I would use drugs if they were legal.
I would smoke marijuana.
Yes I already use drugs, only marijuana though, and yes I would use more.
--> the uneducated are not the only ones that use drugs. I am in college and alot of people where I go at least smoke marijuana, some do other drugs as well.
--> Drugs are not illegal only because they harm you, otherwise alcohol and tobacco would also be illegal. They are illegal because sometime in the 1800's when "religion" and prohibition (of drugs as well as alcohol) was the "In Thing" and perferred by those in power, they decided that somethings such as marijuana should be illegal. And actually the reason marijuana is illegal is because back then the US was against Mexico, which was a major importer of marijuana, and so of course to go against them, the US made it illegal. At least that's what comes out of one of my Criminal Justice books, paraphrasing of course, there was a little more depth to it than that but I cannot remember word for word.

well, we all use drugs. just because they're prescribed or OTC doesn't mean they can't do harm. and just because some drugs are illegal doesn't mean they don't have beneficial effects.
but of course, you mean illicit drugs--no i would not abuse illicit drugs if they one day became legal (but not that legallity ever stopped anyone). it would be a disgusting exploitation to legalized highly addictive drugs such as heroine or cocaine or other illegal controled substance.
the only drugs i consume on a "regular, recreational" basis are caffeine and alcohol. and even then...i don't do all that much; several hours of being tipsy isn't worth the liver cirrhosis
[and like "LA girl" said: the illegalization of certain drugs is not because the government is so concerned about public health...their reasons are political...and even have roots in racism "hooked: the history of illicit drugs"]

The fact that they are illegal wouldn't stop me using them.
I don't use them because:
1 - i'm scared of losing control
2 - a lot of my friends do drugs and i've been to hospital with them on more than one occasion.
3 - i've seen a lot of people wasting their life on them
I've smoked weed in the past but i'm over that. And i'd quite like to try cocaine - but i never will, even if it becomes legal
This vid stopped me from wanting to try LSD - that would frickin TERRIFY me!! LOL

I wouldn't use any...it's a waste of money, I don't need to take drugs to impare my judgment....my judgment & common sense is bad enough w/out drugs.

I don't use any drugs now, and I don't think I'd suddenly change my behavior just because the law changed.

no, because the reason they arent legal is because they can killl you and harm the others around you. They hit you so hard, most people dont even know that

NO FU**ING WAY!! i wanna live longer and be healthy. taking drugs just keeps you down and you'll lose a bunch of those dear to you. and you won't be happy!
