Why should a tomboy try to become a girly girl? To try to become something you aren't is a pathway to total unhappiness. Just be yourself and accept who you are. If you like you then others will as well whether you are a tom boy or a girly girl.

Start of slowly with going shopping for clothes that are kinda girly but kind of tomboyish... It took me a while to break the habbit of buying all black guy clothes, but eventually I found the clothing style I liked. Also, if its also regarding things you do like skate boarding, or playing video games, that doesnt mean you're a tomboy. I play World of Warcraft and play with trading card games, which is mostly a male thing to do... But I do it anyway because I'm happy with it.

You can't LEARN to be something you aren't...it'll end up looking/feeling fake and forced. If you want to look and/or feel pretty (I'm assuming this is really what you're after), you can do so without compromising who you are. Wear more fitted clothing, makeup, and fix your hair. It's simple, subtle, and will make a difference without feeling fake.

wear things that are more feminine such as nice tops to go with jeans that are not baggy. Accessorizing your wardrobe with rings, necklaces, and bracelets. Wearing cute shoes. wearing a little makeup that's not too harsh, but natural looking.
