Of course they are. So what that they won first 3 games? Doesn't mean nothing. 13 more to go. Let's see them a little bit down the road. I think they will finish 10-6.

No.
It is not so much that they are winning. It is how they are winning. If you watch the games, you will see they they are totally dominating the other team. At the end of the games you can see the other teams are exhausted and whooped, while the Cowboys are are still full of energy.
The Cowboys defense is not that bad. they are +6 in turnovers, they are averaging 2 sacks a game and have held teams to an average of 2 TD's per game. And they are doing this without three of their top five defensive players. Two of those guys will be back here in a couple of weeks. They will also improve as they become more comfortable with the new system.
Other than the Patriots, I am not so sure that the other top AFL teams are all that superior to the Cowboys right now. I think the Cowboys could compete with the Colts or the Steelers on any Sunday.

The Bears not a surperior team?
Correct me if I'm wrong (which I'm not), but the Bears were the NFC champions last year and did go to the superbowl.
And if you didn't watch the game this past sunday, you would know the Cowboys were playing a tough, and I mean tough Bears defense, which is one of the best in the NFL. And the Cowboys tired the Bears defense and scored all those points, which the only other time the Bears allowed a team to score that many points was the Colts a few years ago I believe.
And plus the Cowboys were playing in Chicago where the Bears at the upperhand, being that it's the Bears homefield.
Now if the Cowboys would have played someone in week 3 like the Saints, Browns, or Raiders, then you can make the statement that the Cowboys haven't played any really good teams so far.
Right now, they are one of the best, if not the best team in the NFC right now. It's up to the Cowboys if they want to continue to win and remain one of the best for the rest of the season.

Thats an interesting question. Contrary to what a lot of people are saying about combined records, at this point in the season teams that may not have as good of a record are still better than some other teams based on who they have had to play. For example the Jets and Chargers are better than the 9ers even though neither teams record currently reflects that. As far as the cowboys have looked this season, their good. They are a solid 10-6 kind of team. They are good on offense, they stink on pass defense.
The Bears are NOT a superior team this year. They went to the Superbowl last year and lost. The Raiders went to the superbowl in 2002 and finished 4-12 the following year.
Are they overrated?
Yes, many people would pick them to win the superbowl. They could get to the superbowl possibly, but they couldn't beat the Patriots or Colts and more than likely couldn't beat the Steelers.

Of course they are.........their opponents combined record: 2-7, just like the Patriots opponents combined record. Yet alot of people already have these teams playing in the Superbowl.
Everyone says the Steelers haven't proved anything, but their opponents are 3-6 and one has a winning record, so their schedule has been harder than either the Pats or Cowgirls.
And it doesn't matter what the team they are playing did last year, that was last year. The Cowgirls opponents have been pretty pathetic this year. They would get crushed by the Ravens, Pats, Colts, Titans, Jags, Broncos, or Steelers.
And the Bears are not a superior team. Do you know that seven of the last 13 Super Bowl losers didn't make the playoffs the next season and eight didn't win their division. The Seahawks last year were the first Superbowl loser to make the playoffs the following season in 5 years? They were like 8-8 last year and only got in because the NFC west was so pathetic.

They whipped the NFC champions from last year in their own stadium, scored 34 points against what many called the best defensive unit in football,Chicago fans claimed that the Bears had some players hurt, what Chicago fans don't say is that the Cowboys are also without their top defensive player out for the season, and one of their top receivers on the disable list,if that is over rated, what does that make the rest of the NFC teams?as for Jerry Jones screwing up,he's only managed to win 3 super bowls in the short time he's owned the team, many owners in the NFL wished they were as screwed up as him, owning the team that's worth millions more than the closest team the Redskins

i don't think they are overrated. Giants and Bears were playoff teams last year and miami was hot at the end of the year. Completely shredded apart a Bears defense that the rest of the nfl couldn't do anything with so u cant say they are overrated for going into chicago and putting up results like that. defense needs some work but offense will make up for it...they are the real deal

No, I dont think so, yeah Miami is weak but Ny and Dallas always play each other hard no matter what and Chicago did go to the Super Bowl last year, they lost, but still got there. They put up a bunch of points on one of the best defenses in the NFL. Dallas is playing good right now and their offense is Hot. Jason Garrett is a smart offensive corridator.

The Bears aren't a superior team? Which NFC teams would you consider "superior?" I am a die-hard 49ers fan. I hate the Cowboys with a passion! I picked the Eagles to finish first in that division with the Cowboys winning a card spot in the playoffs. After their impressive start, I honestly think the Cowboys are probably the best team in the NFC this year. Which isn't really saying much, but I do believe they are definitely NOT overrated. I hate to say it but underrated if anything.
Being a Niners fan since 85 I am alowed to say this, though... COWBOYS SUCK!!!

I don't know if they're overrated or not just yet. Yeah, they haven't beaten anyone all that solid yet, still they ARE 3-0. That in and of itself warrants SOME level of respect.
The jury's still out on them as far as I'm concerned.
It doesn't get any harder for them either. They're going to be 5-0 (St Louis and Buffalo) when New England comes to Dallas to play.
New England will be a true measure of what Dallas is capable of.
