the Rudolf Steiner method of ecducation. If so: What do you understand about them? Do you agree with the system?

Here in the US, we call them Waldorf Schools, and there are nearly 200 (in most major cities).

World wide, there are over 900, with more being formed every year. For a full list see the link below.

I used many of the principles developed by the founder when I was homeschooling my sons and grandsons.

Well, It could work... but then again looking at some people i know... they would still be in school at 34 when they could be doing a shitty job in a factory paying Tax and NI,. and contributing towards the education of young people that need it and could possibly stand a chance. If we adopt anymore American ways (taking into account we already have mcdonalds and getting fatter by the generation) we might as well leave the european union and become part of the US (then people would have a justified reason for trying to blow us up!). We do need a better system, but we cannot forget that we do not pay for state education, so asking people to stay in school longer would drain resources that we could be using on new starters into schools.

I'm in the USA and I have not heard of this method. What are your thoughts on this?
