And what are the legal issues?

She'll be 14 in 2 weeks and she's the one who wants to. I just don't know if I should. Her parents are ok with it.

It is mostly the legal issues you are dealing with. People are after all only human (animals) and animals have sexual desires (meant for procreation). Some people also have religious views to keep in mind. Realistically you will probably find most people calling statatory rape. Some people won't see a problem with it. I personally lost my virginity at 16 to a 13yr old. We were together, and felt in love, and decided to show each other how we felt by having sex. I had some support in my decision, but mostly otherwise. Good luck in your decisions.

yes It would be wrong to have sex. Even tough you are not 18 you still be considered as an adult and you can go to jail for criminal sexual abuse. You will have to pay a fine and do some probation time up to 6mo to a year. Just don't do it. IF the parents of your girl Friend find out and if the press charges you can get more time. What would you do if she become pregnant. Do you have a job to support it. Where are you going to live. How are you going to pay for the hospital bill.Their is a lot of things you should consider before you go jumping in to this. If I was you I will finish school and get a good job before you even thing about it. Your are still a kid, enjoy it while you still can.Don't let sex mess it up for you.Oh by the way, when you turn 18 and you get caught you can be a registered sex offender for up to 10 years. That would stay on your record. That would hurt you to get a good job, into schools, the military, and just about everything else.GOOD LUCK

I think it would be wrong. A 13 year old girl has no business having sex. You don't say where your from so I can't comment on the legal issue. I would imagine that it would be considered statutory rape in any country. But it's not just legal issues there are moral issues here too. Let your girlfriend grow up a bit first.

ok, its technically not legal to engage in sexual activities with a minor until ur 18. But you never know, theres always a risk of getting into trouble. Also, this could get you into trouble with some other people. Like, for instance, do her parents know about the two of you? Do your parents know about the 2 of you? If they DO know, and the thought of sex is ok with them, all i can say is, dont do anything you'll regret.

In my opinion though, age is just a number. A few of my friends have bfs that are 4-6 yrs older than them (My friends are 13) and their relationships are great. although, i am concerned about my friends when they talk about having sex with older guys. I mean, its natural. Because a lot of guys just want to get into young girls' pants. If you really care about her thoguh, and you're both ready, go ahead. But if youre just looking for some "fun" dont do it.

Oh my god ! What is wrong with you? She is a minor and your a kid too! She is only 13 and you are ready to take this little girls viginity away (even if she thinks she wants too) - she is probably yet to get her period and what if she accidentally got pregnant ? Are you ready to be a father?

I dont even think you should be dating - what does a thirteen year old now about dating - shame on you, grow up and let this girl grow up to before having sex with her.

You will be in big trouble by her parents and the law because depending where your from, 13 is too young - 16 is the age limit.

Dont do this and make her regret it.

the first thing is , why are you going out with a 13 year old ?? what are you thinking !!.. YES!! it would be wrong 1 for the fact that you are over the age limit for hooking up with her and the fact that once you turn 18 you cant even touch her!! for example this guy had sex with his 17 year old girlfriend and is now facing 10 to life in prison is that what you want ?? if anything you should find someone your own age

God, these people don't know what they're talking about... I'm bloody 18 liking a 14 year old who also likes me. >.< I hate it, I hate it I hate it. I feel so weird that I like him. I don't know how to take it, but everything clicks.

I know exactly how you feel, and damn it if you love her, you should know what to do.

If I were you though, I'd wait... there's more to a relationship than sex... and all legalites say if you have sex with her it's absolute rape... doesn't matter if she's willing, if you're charged, you're damned.

Just be with her, you can love her with out so much as holding hands (though you should hold hands anyways).

I know where you're coming from, but even still I think you should wait.

I really hope the best for the two of you.

It will depend upon the country in which you live. In different states in the US it is illegal and considered rape.
In Canada, it is against the law and is considered sexual assault and sexual interference. Although the age of consent is 14 in Canada, there can not be a four year age difference.

Please talk to an adult you both trust about this. It is a big committment to enter into such a relationship. There are many more things going on then just the sex that will effect your life in the future and hers.

Statutory rape is what that is called, in most states the age of consent is 16 and even if then, only if there is a four year or less difference in age. Unless the older person is entrusted with children (like a teacher, camp counselor, etc.), then automatically the younger person must be 18.

It is against the law in most states If the girl is more than 3 or 4 years different in age and under the age of 16.
