Guessing that it's the beginning of the end for the government, despite their attempt to crack down . Too many people protesting this time . Would think that the Bhuddist belief in reincarnation will make it that much harder to intimidate the people . Hoping the protestors succeed this time . (& with few casualties )

I dislike what is happening there, and what has been happening for many years. This has been the norm in Burma (Myanmar) for many years and what you are hearing about is nothing compared to what is actually taking place -- Mass killings, slave labour, sex slavery and rape etc by the military.

It reinforces my opinion that the biggest threat to the individual freedoms, of any people, is their own government.
