I'm new at owning my very first snake and i was wondering what does snake regurgitation look like so I'll know what to look for?

A regurgitated mouse will usually look like the mouse or rat, but it's slimy, black, and most often it's the smell that tips you off. Nothing smells as much as a 3-day dead, partially digested mouse. Hopefully you'll never experience a regurge. If you have enough snakes though, you most likely will experience it at least once.

It will look like a mangled mouse, partially digested. Poop on the other hand will not look like a rodent at all. To prevent regurg, don't handle the snake for at least 48 hours after feeding. I don't know what kind of snake you have but here are some really good forums:

when you see your snake puking you will know its regurgitating. want to see it puke? just give it a whole egg(preferably large or xtra large depending on the snakes size)and I swear it will swallow it whole and give it a minute or so and it will puke out the shell and only the shell! its pretty cool, cheap fun, and a great topic of conversation.

That depends on what they ate...... if it's mice then nails and hair could be in the vomit, if it was in a watery area and the snake ate fish there might be scales.....it depends on what their food is what would be in their vomit.
