I'm dizzy, i can't see straight, and i have been throughing up all night. wasn't creative it was just true...I was so drunk i could barely make the call.

Garage roller door stuck and you can't get car out
The old migraine excuse (highly transparent, but noone can argue it)
I once rung in and told boss that I fell in the swimming pool fully clothed bending over to stop a palm tree frond from going in the filter....didn't equal a day off but it bought me a few precious hours to sober up!

Said I was broken down on the side of the freeway and actually went out by the side of the road to make the call so they would hear the sounds of traffic.

my acid reflux flare ups. NO ONE wants to be around me when that happens, it's like a woman going into labor on the job and doesn't care what is said or done at that time.
