Why don't they capture him and bring him to justice? How can the man who authorized the killing of more than 3000 Americans... still be free, while the President of the U.S. does almost nothing to find him?

Ynot, no one knew who the unibomber was. It's very hard to catch someone that no one knows anything about. But Bin Laden is about the most recognizable face on Earth.

Good question. Osama Bin Laden financed and trained terrorist to fly planes into buildings around the US. Yet since no one has shot a bomb, bullet or even thrown a rock at him. Here's a question for you that we kick around at work. No it's not why is he still president. Here goes. If bush was president when Pearl Harbor Hawaii got bombed by the Japanese, what country would he have attacked?

Consider - I would be willing to bet that Bush would gladly trade a dozen Saddam's for just one Bin Laden. We had chances in the past to get this dirt bag. Unfortunately, after the events of 9/11, he's not quite so accessible.
One man in a huge area with plenty of other loonies who support him and keep him hidden. Sounds a little like the proverbial needle in a haystack to me.

It was never about bin laden, it was and is about making as much money as possible before the American public finally catches on!

Have you ever tried to find a needle in a haystack? It's not like we haven't been trying. What have you done to help find him, since your so concerned? Don't you think there's been enough damage done in the name of national security, Bin Laden or tyrany? Do you realize how many innocent people end up dying in a manhunt for just one person? I know its hard but Bin Laden got exactly what he wanted out of this whole deal, imfamacy, fear of the American public, plain old attention. He'll never be found until he comes out himself and as long as we give him the attention he wants he has no reason to show up. As soon as he thinks he is forgotten, we'll see him again then we can strike.

You my friend are what we call naive and I will show you by example, the Uni-bomber took the government over a decade to get him and only because his brother turned him in The Olympic park bomber he was hiding in the mountains of north Carolina he was caught by luck going through a dumpster after many years, All these people were living in the US so you think it is ineptetude that we can;t find someone in a foreign country probably hiding in million of square miles of mountainous region. Stop believing in everything you see at the movies.

Be my guest and you can keep all the money. You do not have a clue what you are asking and how difficult a place you are asking to invade. He has been neutralized and is much less a threat than he was. If the coward ever comes out of his hole he will be caught. Peace

Because he lives in Pakistan, now, and they have nuclear weapons with which to defend themselves and him.

I guess we only treat those regimes that harbor terrorists as terrorist themselves if we think it will be a quick and easy fight, and/or if there are substantial fossil fuel deposits to be had....

Sorry for answering a question with a question. But if President Clinton had caught him after the USS Cole and Embassy bombings then would we even be having this discussion?

because he's in pakistan, and if we send troops in there The frail hold the government has will collapse. Pakistan has nukes. The last thing we need is a Taliban type government taking it over.
