I think some of the most wonderful stories are those of soldiers making it home safely, and what their family's do for their homecoming.

I was driving along, and i came to a road, lined with big huge flags. United States of American flags. And than the house was COVERED in yellow ribbons, and had a big sign saying welcome home Christian. It just melted my heart. Knowing how brave our troops are. And what they sacrifice. Does anyone else have stories like this?

I was in the military during VIET NAM.We the basic members of the militery did not get a homecoming, the former POW's did and that was great.
As for myself I got my homecoming 25 years latter when I was at a Native American festival/POW-WOW and they saluted the veterains.
Your question is a welomed sight to this vet.
