I am the eldest of six children, two of whom are now deceased.

I have three kids (one bonus kid), two grandchildren, and one more on the way.

I have six nephews, two of whom are deceased. There are 4 nieces in law, and six grand-neices and nephews.

I have 22 cousins, one of whom is deceased. (Not to mention their spouses and kids. It gets too confusing to go into detail......)

Both of my parents are now gone, but my Grandmother will be 100 years old in November.

I have 10 Uncles and Aunts, two of whom are deceased. I have one living great-aunt, but at one time I had 22 great-aunts and uncles, and all their spouses and kids.

But wait.

My wife is the fifth of nine children. Her Mother is still living, and her Grandmother just passed away at age 106 in late June.

Two of her brothers have passed, but her father was the 9th of 11 kids, and she has cousins numbering in excess of 40, several of whom have passed away. There are currently 17 nieces and nephews, the youngest of whom just turned two.

Needless to say, our family reunions are quite noisy.

I posted a family tree on Ancestry.com, and now have in excess of 6,000 individuals that I am related to one way or another.

do you prefer a huge relatives? I by no skill needed a great relatives, I actual have 4 little ones and that i'm getting reactions from some human beings like i had 14! lol that's spectacular what some human beings evaluate "extensive". How great is 'sufficient'? for me...3 replaced into sufficient, yet one snuck in there...LOL he's cute even with the undeniable fact that so i think of we will shop 'em. What could i call them? nicely..they *are* named Kyle David, Brandon JonGuard, Delaney Josephine and Hayden Ronald. they are named for relatives. merely theory i could upload...i swore i could by no skill stress a mini van too, yet there is not any way that 4 young ones will fit in an SUV conveniently esp once you're coping with booster chairs. and besides, mini trucks are a helluva lot safer than SUVs...my young ones secure practices is greater considerable than my arrogance. and that i actual dislike the coverage rates on SUVs besides. I rock my minivan LOL (that's no longer undesirable finding the two a 2004 Nissan Quest V6), unwell be upgrading in 2010 even with the undeniable fact that :) the two oldest are teen and tween so momma gets her enjoyable wheels in a three hundred and sixty 5 days.

My husband and I have five children - son 8, daughter 7, daughter 5, daughter 3, son 16 months - and we hope to have many more.

He comes from a family of 3. I come from a mixed family of 4 brothers and 2 sisters, however, I was an only child. :-) I'm the only one my parents had together.

I have only one brother. But I do have two parents, and two grandmas, plus two parents-in-law and hubbys two grandmas that treat me as their own. (Our children have FOUR great-grandparents still living, plus four grandparents!)

My Mom is one of five children and my dad is one of four, so I have quite a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins, and children of cousins in the family.

Also, we are expecting our fourth child. At what point is it considered a large family? I think some people think four children makes a large family, though only a few decades ago, 4 children was normal.

Wow you have a big family. I'm the only child, so there are only 3 members in my family. But I get all the love showered on me, so I guess that's the good thing! :)
